Practice makes perfect. That is how you truly learn how to capture those beautiful evening and night images. Cameras have different limits to what they can capture at low light and we will learn how to get those beautiful images. While topics like ISO, aperture, exposure compensation, and shutter speed are things that will be mentioned in this workshop, we will deliver a hands-on approach so you can learn how to shoot in low light.
The course is open to everyone that has a DSLR camera and tripod. The instruction will always be at the students pace as some concepts are more difficult to understand than others.
During this workshop we will visit the best places in St. John’s to capture images under low light conditions. We will shoot during sunset, blue hour and continue under the night sky. Places we will photograph include; Quidi Vidi, Signal Hill, Lower Battery, South Side Hills and other scenic locations in the St. John’s area.
We will meet at Quidi Vidi Village parking lot. Free Parking is available.
