We highly recommend travel insurance, which includes cancellation insurance.
However, we understand that attending one of our tours/workshops requires commitment, and things can happen in life that may force you to cancel.
- Greater than 150 days before the workshop start date – full refund of any payments made.
- 150-91 days before the start of the workshop – 75% of tour cost refunded
- Within 90 days of the start of the workshop – No refund.
No matter when you cancel, if we can fill your space in the workshop or tour, we will provide a 100% refund. Tours or bookings are also transferable to other people.
All refunds will be made by the same method as the original payment.
We use the Zoom application, and you will receive an email with instructions before the agreed meeting time.
The arrival of icebergs to the shores of Newfoundland is unpredictable every season. However, through years of experience chasing icebergs, the best chance to photograph them is from early May until early july.
Puffins start to appear in early May, and the late departure puffins leave around late September. However, the best time to photograph puffins is from the beginning of June to the end of August to Middle of September.
While the largest migration of Humpback whales gathers on the coast of Newfoundland, they are unpredictable. However, through our years of experience photographing whales, the best chance to capture that award-winning image is from early July to mid-August.
They may be requested and arranged based on the tour or workshop being attended.
Yes, we are there to assist you with learning as much as you can about your camera gear and equipment, as well as how to take home some of the most amazing shots of your life. In-field and out, they will be providing you with as much education as you request!
We always welcome non-photographers on our tours. Even without taking the photographs, the experience will be very memorable.
Standard ticket prices for non-photographer persons. However, on a private tour, you can take the whole family for the group rate.
The sooner you are able to make your booking, the better. We have no way of knowing when other people will book, so by the time you decide to confirm your place; it may be that the tour is already filled up! Our advice is to book as soon as you’ve made the decision to travel.

No, we welcome all levels of photographers on our tours, and there is usually a mix of people with all levels of experience and skill.

You may have received an error message during your purchase process.
It may have been either a 400 or 500 code error or simply a blank screen, and you may wonder if your order has gone through.
This could have been caused by many factors:
1. Your session expired, and you were taking too long to complete the order.
2. Your internet connection has been cut out.
3. An issue with your computer.
4. Your credit card was invalid (there should be a specific error message indicating this).

1. Check your email and junk folder right away. If the order went through, you will have received a confirmation email with the details of your purchase.

Your tickets are transferrable, so if you can’t use your tickets, feel free to give them to a friend to use.
While most photo tours include pickup and travel to each location, there is parking available at each tour stop. After you purchase tickets, you’ll receive emails with pickup and/or parking instructions.
Please be sure to let us know if you (or anyone in your group) have a dietary restriction (e.g., vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs.
Yes, an advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.
Yes, please email us to let us know what date you are interested in if you do not see availability.
Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%.
Yes, we will stop at various locations for bathroom breaks during the tour.
The tours are held rain, shine, or snow. In the event of inclement weather, we will work with what nature presents us at the time. Some of the best images are captured under poor weather, so we will be very creative and try to get the best images that the day presents us. We advise you to check the weather conditions for your day's event and dress appropriately. It is also advisable to pack waterproof bags to protect your camera and lenses. Always better to be safe!
At this time, we do not offer tours in any other language except English. However, if you are interested in a photo tour in a specific language, please contact us, and we will try to make accommodations.
Each tour is unique and will require different items. However, each tour will have a list that will include nice-to-have and must-have items.
